Long time no writing, am I right? The OG folk who still lurk in the writing space might remember me. Before I became a published author, I was a blogger. I wrote whatever I felt and as the years progressed, it trickled into infrequent, maybe a piece of thoughts here or poetry there, before eventually, I stopped all together. I missed it. I missed the uncanniness of writing opinions down in a bigger platform than Instagram.
So, here we are. My author site got a face lift (that took me a couple hours!) and I am sitting down, writing this as a lame sort of introductory post in case you are new here. In case you are, hi! My name is Erin Nichole and I am a writer of mostly fantasy for adults. I've been writing since I was a youngling and I haven't really stopped since. Of course, I'm not just a writer chained to her desk (though I will say, as I'm close to finishing a book, I am unfortunately, chained to my desk).
I'm a sucker for good music (current favorite artists on rotation have been Bad Omens, Nevertel, Ira Wolf, two songs by the Arcadian Wild, and Hunter Metts).
I love a good cup of joe.
I enjoy early mornings but hate the waking up part.
We are currently in the wonderful season of winter and I am thriving. Frost glittering across the dead grass? Frosty puffs of air when one breathes? Bitter cold biting one's cheeks, flushing them pink, red? What is not to love?
I have a never-ending list of books to read, most are already on the shelves in my room. Sadly, I keep accumulating more books. Current read, however, is The Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri.
I have a published series that I love very much, especially the third volume called Hearts Entwined, a story about loyalty, betrayal, heartache, friendship, and complex emotions.
